Woman stung by dangerous jellyfish in WA-NewsCO

A woman has been stung by an Irukandji jellyfish – one of the world’s deadliest creatures – in Broome in Western Australia, prompting a beach closure.

Town Beach in Broome was closed for 24 hours just after 10am on Friday.

The woman was treated at the local hospital and has been discharged.
