Veteran South Australian MP Duncan McFetridge has confirmed he will run as an independent at the next state election after losing Liberal Party preselection for his southern Adelaide seat.
Dr McFetridge quit the party after the preselection decision and now says he will contest his seat of Morphett at the state poll in March next year.
“I will be standing as an independent at the next election. I’m still there for the people of Morphett,” he told ABC radio on Monday.
