Alternative rockers Placebo have cancelled their Perth show at the 11th hour.
The band’s Perth Arena gig was cancelled less than two hours before they were due on stage.
Promoters posted an announcement on social media, saying the concert would not go ahead due to illness to lead singer Brian Molko.
Fans vented their frustration on Twitter, with one summing up the mood of the audience.
“Perth gig cancelled at last minute,” Ben said.
“Gutted, And pi**** off in equal measure … very late notice.”
Fans are advised to keep their tickets and wait for more information.
Perth concert-goers had paid at least $107 for their seats in silver tier, and more than $138 for gold tier and general admission tickets.
Placebo were due on stage at 8.40pm for a two-hour set in the band’s first full national headline tour in 11 years.
